The rescue plan

Start with the basics.

01

Today

Remove decorative pots, confirm drainage, inspect soil and roots, prune dead material, and separate any plant with pests.

02

Weekly

Check moisture by plant type, rotate pots a quarter turn, empty saucers, wipe leaves, and inspect undersides for pests.

03

Monthly

Flush mineral buildup, check drainage, and fertilize only actively growing plants at half strength.

The one rule: Peace lilies like evenly moist soil. Orchids want air around their roots. Magic Bells want a proper dry-out.
